What we store

Your email and password hash for signing in, and your display name if you set one. For each contact you save: the name you typed; the LinkedIn profile URL (stored as its handle, with previous handles kept so the contact still matches after a URL change); the company, email address and phone number you type; how and when you met; your dated notes and reminders; tags; importance; when you last contacted them and when to reach out next; the Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook handles you add; why they matter to you, how you can help them, who introduced you, and personal details; any fields you define yourself together with their values; and, if you import your LinkedIn connections, their name, profile link, company, position and connection date (the email addresses in LinkedIn's file never leave your browser and are never stored). The people you write about have not signed up; we treat everything you save about them as sensitive and never share it.

Where it lives

Data is stored in a Supabase Postgres database in Frankfurt (EU) with row-level security so only your account can read your rows. The web app and its API run on Vercel. Nobody else has access; there is no team sharing.

The extension and LinkedIn

The extension never changes LinkedIn pages and never adds anything to them: no buttons, marks, styles or elements. When you click its icon it reads the current tab's URL. Access to linkedin.com is optional: if you allow it, the list of your saved profile handles is kept on your device and matched there so the icon can show ✓; the profiles you visit are never sent to our servers unless you click the icon or have the side panel open: while the panel is open, the profile you are viewing is looked up so the panel can show that person. The side panel can also show which people on a LinkedIn page you have notes on. This is off until you turn it on in the panel. While it is on, a small script from the extension reads the address and profile links of the LinkedIn tab that is active beside the open panel, and only that tab, never names, messages or other text; switching to another tab pauses it, and a tab in a window where the panel isn't open is never read. The panel compares those links on your device with an index of your own contacts (their names, profile handles, importance and next reach-out dates, kept in the extension's storage). Nothing about the page is sent to our servers unless you click a person in the list. Rows you hide are remembered on your device only. Turn the list off with "Turn off this list" in the panel; signing out turns it off and removes the index and hidden rows from your device. You can remove LinkedIn access at any time in Chrome's extension settings and the extension keeps working in click mode.

What we never do

We never sell your data, show ads, share notes with anyone, or use your notes to train AI models. We don't run analytics or error tracking on note contents, names, handles, email addresses or phone numbers, and they are never written to logs.

Export and deletion

From the Notebook tab of your account you can download everything as JSON or CSV at any time, and delete your account from the Account tab. Deletion removes your account and every row you own immediately.

Backups

On the current database plan no backups are kept, so deletion is immediate and final. If backups are added later, deleted data will expire from them on the backup schedule and this page will say so.
